Ministry to the Sick and Homebound

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) bring the comfort of Christ in the form of the Eucharist to those who cannot come to church. They bring the Church to people who cannot physically come to mass. Through these visits, the sick and homebound are united to the Body of Christ present in our Ascension community. Ministers to the Sick and Homebound visit hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities and personal homes.

If you or a member of your family or a friend or loved one is unable to participate in mass in person and would like a minister to visit and bring Holy Communion, please contact the parish office at 321-254-1595.
