FISH (Fellowship Invites Service & Helping)
A Catholic Family Support Ministry
Mission
- FISH provides families with a prayerful support network for spiritual growth and fellowship.
- FISH provides children with a structured learning atmosphere which enables them to grow spiritually, intellectually, socially and emotionally.
- FISH provides parents an opportunity to celebrate life and each other through community and family experiences.
For Who?
- Stay-at-home parents who desire support during daytime hours.
- Mother’s Morning Out Program is for children 18 months to 4 years.
When?
- Moms/Dads attend either the Tuesday or Thursday prayer/support meeting from 8:30 -- 9:30am.
- MMO is available from one day up to five days a week from 8:15am to 12:15 pm at the Ministry Center.
Cost?
- Parents’ Meeting cost is $10 per semester.
- MMO cost is $14/day, plus bi-annual registration fees.

Fellowship
- Weekly Prayer and Support Meetings provides members an opportunity to grow spiritually and to support each other as we raise our children.
- Monthly breakfasts. Celebrate and give thanks for each other and our blessings.
- Parents' Night Out. Working and stay-at-home parents’ time to celebrate life and build friendships.
- Mom’s Night Out. Gives mom a break to relax and chat with other moms without the kids.
- Family Events. Activities for the whole family, e.g. afternoon barbecues, pool parties, park picnics.
- Mothers’s Morning Out (MMO) provides a safe environment for children to play. MMO ministry follows educational guidelines appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers while spiritually following the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Marian Retreats Twice a year the members take time to reflect on our many blessings and thanks God
Serving & Helping
- Wonderful Wednesday Helps with one meal/year by setting up, serving and cleaning up at the parish meal.
- Assist other church ministries’ events. e.g. donations for charity baskets
- Mom to Mom Sale-Hosts sale each November where vendors sell gently loved children and baby items and buyers get great bargains. For more information please contact fishmomtomomsale@yahoo.com
- Advent Angle Tree Assists with tracking gift tags, donations, and planning Christmas party for gift recipients.
- Provide Meals. Members bake meals for others members in time of need, especially after one of God’s bundles of joy has arrived!
