Our Religious Education Office offers instruction and religious formation for children in grades K-8 as well as special sacramental preparation sessions for children preparing to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation &  First Eucharist. (The Confirmation Preparation Program is coordinated by Matt Spence mattspencesenior@gmail.com.) Parents are required to participate in the sacramental preparation of their children. Members of the community are invited to participate as catechists, teacher aides, and sponsors. Classes are held from the end of August through May beginning after Brevard public schools begin and ending before the end of the school year. For the Fall of 2009, we will have classes on Tuesday afternoon from 4:00 - 5:15 PM for Grades K-6 and Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 7:45 PM for Grades 1-8.

Ideally, children who are not in Ascension Catholic School would attend Religious Education classes K-8.
