Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is the largest international lay apostolic association within the Catholic Church that was founded in 1921. The Legion's main purpose is to glorify God by fostering holiness in its members through prayer, evangelization, and acts of service within the Church. The Legion is comprised of Auxiliary or Active membership. Active members come together each week to pray the Rosary and discuss how to be of service to the Church. Auxiliary members do not have to attend weekly meetings, and pray daily for the Legion members. We put ourselves under Our Lady's mantle and protection, to evangelize and bring Jesus to everyone we meet.
