Ascension Catholic Parish is organizing a YOUTH CHOIR—ages 8 through 18. Boys and girls are encouraged to participate.

The Youth Choir will lead the music for Sunday Liturgy periodically through-out the year: with the Adult choir on Sunday mornings at 9:30; at the 11:30 Sunday Mass; and a few special liturgies throughout the year. [Schedule to follow] The choir will have 1-1½ hour weekly rehearsals [time and day TBD soon].

If your child is interested, the auditions will be Saturday, November 2, from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Your child (age 8 through 18) should be prepared to expect the following: 1. Be proficient in book reading 2. Be able to “carry a consistent tune” (this will be measured by some simple voice exercises at the audition) 3. Be well behaved and follow instructional directions well without parental guidance
