Ascension is planning to bring back Children’s Liturgy for every Sunday’s 9:30am Mass. To make this possible, we need a dedicated team of parishioners willing to take turns leading on Sundays for scheduling flexibility. Also needed are assistants to chaperon the children in the chapel at that time. Leading (sharing the Word) with children during Mass once a month or less is a learn-as-you-go involvement and the readings and questions for the children are provided to leaders in advance. Leaders are required to complete Safe Environment Training which includes watching a training video online, taking the quiz, and being fingerprinted.
