Collection for Puerto Rico

Dear Brothers and Sisters

This coming weekend you are all invited to participate in a collection of non- perishable items for Puerto Rico. Catholic Charities of Orlando will place a box truck similar to our Thrift Store truck outside the main entrance of the Church on Friday Oct 6, and it will remain there until noon on Monday Oct 9. After the collection, Catholic Charities will:

  • Take all donated items to their collection point in Orlando, where they will be placed in containers and loaded on planes or boats
  • Once they reach Puerto Rico, Catholic Charities will oversee the distribution of the items to those in need

Below is a list of the items requested for donation - Please NO clothing

Bring your donations before any of the five weekend masses. There will be no one at the truck outside of the mass times.

Please share this news release with your neighbors, friends and co-workers.

 In Christ,

Father Eamon
