Greetings Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I know that all of you have been praying for the victims of Harvey and also praying for the wonderful First Responders and all the wonderful volunteers helping those in danger to get to safe ground

Our parish will have a special collection to help the victims of Harvey on the weekend of Sept. 9th-10th.

If not in church that weekend, you can bring your donation next weekend and place in an envelope in the basket during the Offertory Collection

We will forward the collection to the Diocese who will forward it to Catholic Charities USA

Make checks to "Ascension Catholic Church" and in Memo line write Harvey victims.

It is gratifying to see how our fellow Americans open their hearts and purses to people in need during times of disaster
