We are sad to announce that our school principal Anita Brady died last evening due to medical complications following an earlier procedure (non-covid related).
Anita and her family (parents Charles and Dolores "Dee" Best and 4 siblings) are founding members of our parish and school. She is survived by her two loving children Brian and Laura, her mother Dee Best and her siblings Christopher, Angela, Sally and Colleen and their families.
Anita was in our first kindergarten class on 1961-1962. She worked at Ascension School Community for 36 years as teacher, technology director and principal beginning in 2015.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Please join us in praying for Anita, her family and all who love her.
God of endless ages,
from one generation to the next
you have been our refuge and strength.
Before the mountains were born
or the earth came to be,
you are God.
Have mercy now on your servant Anita
whose life was spent in your service.
Give her a place in your kingdom
where hope is firm for all who love
and rest is sure for all who serve.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
