Fr. John was hacked

E-mails went out this week saying they were from Fr. John but were not sent his parish e-mail address. Unfortunately this was yet another scam targeting church members by impersonating clergy. If an e-mail does not come from jmaison@ascensioncatholic.net, it is NOT Father John writing to you.

In an additional note, Father John will never text or e-mail and ask for money or donations. Ascension Catholic Church only collects money through our parish website (www.ascensioncatholic.net) or the weekend collections during Mass. If you receive an e-mail or text and want to verify if it is from the parish (or from Father Eamon), please forward the e-mail to John Baillie at jbaillie@ascensioncatholicsch.org and he will verify the legitimacy and respond to you.

Our Catholic Appeal Update

This year’s assessment is $432,489. As of week 5 of this campaign, we have recorded total pledges of $336,539.00 from 556 families, which represents 77.8% of our goal.

If you would like to make a pledge or payment:   Use one of the envelopes in the narthex and drop it into the secure offertory box located there.   Or, visit www.ourcatholicappeal.org.  Select "donation" and "Ascension Catholic Church" from the pull-down menu.  Your gift will be credited to Ascension’s goal for 2021.  Thank you for your continued support of The Diocese of Orlando and Ascension Catholic Church Family.
