Feast of the Holy Trinity Info

Your key links for this weekend

The Parish Office will reopen on Monday, June 8th. Our hours will remain 8:30am to 4:00pm with the Office closed for lunch between 12:30-1:30pm. We will be following social distancing practices.

We encourage you to wear a mask when you come to the office. The door will be locked so ring the doorbell to be buzzed in.

Food Sunday

Thank you to all who continue to donate food to our pantry. This coming weekend June 6/7 is our first Sunday of the month. Just a heads up that
the collection baskets will be located outside Church and not by the Altar.  Please deposit food items in the carts or at the truck before entering the Church.

UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, due to Thrift Shop fire, please do not place any clothing items in ladies chapel and no other donations of any kind at
this time.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Moments of Inspiration and Fun from Father Eamon

The Irish Blessing - over 300 churches from our island sing a blessing over Ireland and beyond ... If you are coming to Mass this weekend, we suggest you wait to watch this until after Mass. Just get to church 10 minutes ahead of time and you'll see it on the big screens!

Returning to Church - Ascension Information

Thank you for those who have shared their thoughts about our first weekend back, including Ronald Nagle who said,

"Father Eamon: Lorraine & I had an opportunity to attend 7:30 Mass in Church this morning and just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to be back. As much as we enjoyed the You Tube Sunday Masses these past couple of months, there was nothing like being present in the Lord's house. The new visuals with music and prayers were great - a tribute to all those who worked so hard to make it possible."

We continue to pray for our church family members who remain at home due to health reasons and serious concerns.

CLICK HERE FOR OUR WELCOME BACK TO MASS VIDEO explaining some of the new procedures as we come back to Mass in the Church.

(A few of the tips from the video just written out!)
1.ALL are Highly Encouraged to wear a Face Mask During Mass.  If you do not have one, an usher will be more than happy to retrieve one for your use.

2.Your Financial Generosity in support of Ascension Parish is always welcomed. There is a collection basket at the Main Entrance of the Church in the Narthex. There will not be a collection during the Preparation of Gifts until further directives from the Bishop.

3.The Social Concerns Office is always in need of food items.  If you brought Food Items today, you will find the large Brown container outside the Main Entrance of the Church.

4.COMMUNION PROCESSION: communion Lines have currently changed for your safety.  PLEASE follow the direction of the Ushers and keep a 6 foot distance between you and the person in front of you when processing.  We ask that all in the pew process up, those not receiving Communion may receive a blessing.

5.At the Conclusion of Mass, all Doors will be propped open for your convenience in your speedy and safe departure.  We ask all leave the church once Mass has ended so Maintenance may purify the Church for the next Mass.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to do our best in meeting everyone's need for a full and active participation in the Sunday Liturgy. Sunday Mass will continue to be available on line each Saturday

Bishop Noonan created a beautiful and informational video as are welcoming people back to weekend Masses. Click here to view the message.
