Oct. 30th & 31st Weekend

All Saints & All Souls

All Saints, November 1st is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation this year. However, the 7:30 Mass Monday morning will be the All Saints readings for the day. All are welcome to come and celebrate.

All Souls Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday November 2nd at 6:00 PM. All who have lost a loved one this past year are invited to come and honor their loved one by processing in with a lit candle in their memory. The names of all who have died this past year will be read starting about 10 -15 minutes prior to the start of Mass.

We will also have an opportunity to process with a lit candle at Masses November 6th & 7th for those who may not be able to make Tuesday evenings All Souls Mass.

Donations for Thanksgiving Meals

The Ladies Auxiliary is raising money for Social Concerns to provide Thanksgiving meals for our needy families. We are asking for donations (cash, check, or grocery store gift cards in any amount) which will be collected at Masses October 30 & 31 and November 6 & 7. Please write checks to “Ladies Auxiliary.” For Questions, Call Angela Sullivan at 321-426-6065 or Sue Kuracz at 321-223-0108.

Scam Alert

Father John will never text or e-mail and ask for money or donations. Ascension Catholic Church only collects money through our parish website (www.ascensioncatholic.net) or the weekend collections during Mass. If you receive an e-mail or text and want to verify if it is from the parish, please forward the e-mail to John Baillie at jbaillie@ascensioncatholicsch.org and he will verify the legitimacy and respond to you.
