Fr. Martin Sessions Coming in July

Music Ministry Invitation

The Choir traditionally takes a summer break from the Sunday 9:30 AM Mass and Thursday night rehearsals.  This gives the choir an opportunity to visit family and friends, enjoy dinner with their family on Thursday evenings and to refresh their voices for the new church year ahead. However, they do continue to sing with joy and harmony in the pews each Sunday. J A Cantor and accompanist will resume leading the music for continued active participation in the Liturgy during the summer.

If you have a gift for singing [or play an instrument], please take this summer time to discern, pray and reflect on how God is calling you to Music Ministry.  The future of the Music Ministry consists of not only the 9:30 choir, but a youth choir (ages 8-18), and a small Schola. These vocal groups along with cantors and other musicians will help lead the music each weekend at various Mass times bringing life to the Liturgy and Praise to God with a variety of musical genres: traditional, liturgical contemporary, multi-cultural and some oldies, but goodies.
The Music Ministry is also looking for instrumentalists to volunteer their talents as well: Violins, wind instruments, trumpets, cellos, Percussion, etc.  (Ability to read music is required for instrumentalists).

Rehearsals, for all Music Ministry, regardless the Mass you attend, are on Thursday evenings at 7:00PM in the Church – set to resume on August 19, 2021.

If interested in joining the Music Ministry or have inquiries, please email Katie Gander, Director of Music and Liturgy at
