Updates in Light of FL Executive Order

Church Office

- Our Church Offices will be closed due to the Governor’s Order.  Although we will not be operating at full capacity, we will be available to continue supporting the needs of our community.
- The staff will regularly be checking emails and voicemail.  Unless communicated otherwise, please continue to email or call your usual Church contacts during this month.
- If you have an emergency, please contact our answering service @ (321) 768-9034.
- A BIG THANK you to all of you who continue to support the church financially either through direct giving, mailing their donation or by bringing by their envelope to the drop box at the church office.

Outreach

- Thank you to everyone for bringing donations before the "safer at home" time frame begins. We had 3 bins full of donations alone. That will greatly assist our Center for Social Concerns.
- The Center for Social Concerns will still be distributing food to those in need since it is considered an "essential service." They are not able to give financial assistance at this time.
- The brown bins will remain outside of the Church and will be emptied 2 times a day. Feel free to drop something by or to Social concerns Monday through Friday from 9 am to 11 am if you are out on your run for "essential items."
- We want to thank members of our Children's Hunger Project team who are continuing to support Brevard County's outreach to families and closing the weekend food gap. They are practicing social distancing using precautions as they pack for those in need. If you would like to learn more about this or donate to the efforts, click here

Parish Prayer Chain

Thank you to everyone who has e-mailed and submitted names of front line people serving us during this pandemic. We have posted a list of those submitted along with an updated copy of Father Eamon's "A Prayer for This Time" on our "Parish Covid-19 Response" page. It's mid-way down the page under "Prayer & Other Resources."

If there is someone you would like prayed for specifically, please send their name to info@ascensioncatholic.net.

Uplifting Video

Click here for an acappella version of "You Lift Me Up" with 200 youth singing with Peter Hollens. I believe all will love it and be lifted up by it.
